ER verbs
1. drop the ER from end of the verb
2. add the ending that matches the subject (the person doing the action)

chanter – to sing

je chante nous chantons
tu chantes vous chantez
il chante ils  chantent

 

IR verbs
1. drop the IR from the end of the verb
2. add the ending that matches the subject (the person doing the action)

finir – to finish

je finis nous finissons
tu finis vous finissez
il finit ils finissent

RE verbs
1. drop the RE from the end of the verb
2. add the ending that matches the subject (the person doing the action)

perdre – to lose

je perds nous perdons
tu perds vous perdez
il perd ils perdent
