ER verbs
1. drop the ER from end of the verb
2. add the ending that matches the subject (the person doing the action)
chanter – to sing
| je chante | nous chantons |
| tu chantes | vous chantez |
| il chante | ils chantent |
IR verbs
1. drop the IR from the end of the verb
2. add the ending that matches the subject (the person doing the action)
finir – to finish
| je finis | nous finissons |
| tu finis | vous finissez |
| il finit | ils finissent |
RE verbs
1. drop the RE from the end of the verb
2. add the ending that matches the subject (the person doing the action)
perdre – to lose
| je perds | nous perdons |
| tu perds | vous perdez |
| il perd | ils perdent |
